Dancing With The Stars !!
I have a guilty pleasure...it is watching Dancing with the Stars. I love it!! I only watched the last show of the first season but by season 2 I was hooked. This season is proving to be a good one too. My favorite "star" is Joey Fatone. I have never been a NSYNC fan...not my style of music...but I really like Joey. He's the one I am rooting for this season. Now that Rob and Amber are no longer on The Amazing Race I have moved on to a different show!! ;) Are Mirna and Shmirna still hanging on? Those two make me laugh.
We had Reilly's Parent Teacher Conference this morning at 8 am. It went well but her teacher is SERIOUSLY BIZARRE! The stories Reilly comes home from school with are crazy enough but to see them live and in person is just too much. There were several times I couldn't even look at Tyler or I would've died laughing. She was previously the librarian and is now teaching Reilly's class. I am glad she left the library so that Reilly could get into this school but she is seriously a nut job. She told us that she will not be going back to the library next year but will likely move up to teach 5th grade. She said that she would love to have all her fourth graders move up with her to 5th grade. Reilly looked like she was going to vomit on the spot! Great...now I have to write a letter to the principal and try to avoid 2 teachers!! Reilly wants Mr. Osborne next year. I guess I will have to put my "creative" writing skills to good use.

I am still watching The Amazing Race...and my vote is for the Beauty Queens. They are smart, nice, competitive, and get along with each other. The other teams are always fighting, especially the couples that are dating. I hope they win!!
I heard a rumor that she wanted to keep teaching. You're seriously going to have to write a letter for next year! The good news is Kameron can't go wrong in 1st grade. All the teachers are great!
I echo Stacey's sentiments about the beauty queens. Although I like Oswald and Danny too. They just seem to be actually enjoying their experience.
I used to really like this show. I'll have to try this season again. Once "So You Think You Can Dance" came on, it kind of ruined me. That was some good dancing. Dancing with the stars is less about the dancing and more about the "stars" (which is a stretch). I hate how they ignore the real dancers. Shouldn't they be characters worth developing by now since they always use the same?
I can't tell you how glad I am that I don't have the stress of writing letters for classroom placement. I seriously feel sick to my stomach when I think about the competitiveness between the parents to get kids with certain teachers. But I really wouldn't want any child to have the same teacher two years in a row. Especially her.
Lucy- I totally agree with you that on Dancing with the Stars they should focus on the actual dancers...I usually like them better than the "stars".
Reilly loved Ashley (the LDS girl) who has been on the past few seasons...although not this one...she would have her costumes be modest and she had a lot of class. Reilly actually wrote her a fan letter!

You stopped watching TAR? Traitor! I loved Dancing With the Stars the first season, I'll have to try it again. That's cute about Reilly's fan letter.
My most serious guilty pleasure starts next week (The Bachelor!)

I confess, I am a Dancing with the Stars fan too. If you really want to know my TV dirt, though, I'll have to tell you that my guiltiest pleasure is "The Bachelor". SOOOO embarrassing.
It was a sad day to see Middgy & cousin come in 1st not once, but twice- I could scream(why must they always talk in every country w/ an italian accent?)they are the most annoying- My vote is for the beauty queens-they are a great example of teamwork! After reading previous comments- I may have to take another look into Oswald & Danny-The new bachelor looks VERY hot!!!
Im looking forward to my teaching days- but hope I never have parents that don't want me to teach their kiddo- ouch...
