Farm Chicks!!

Farm Chicks 2015

This year was the most fun yet!! It was also my most lucrative. Hmmm...is there a correlation? It was actually record breaking which was extra nice!! Farm Chicks is our biggest Antiques/Vintage show that we do. It is also one of the biggest shows in the United States. It truly is amazing and it is a blast to be a part of it.

When we first started Sister Creed me, my mom, and Stacey would only get one booth space at every show and just combine all of our stuff and set it up together. That worked out for awhile. But then we all started getting more and more inventory and having more and more of an opinion about how the booth should look and then things stopped working out so well. We tried combining in a double booth space...still didn't work...but then we decided from then on to get a triple booth space at every show. That allows each of us to have our own 10 x 10 space for our own items and to decorate and set up how we please. That has been wonderful. Much less stressful. We now draw to see who gets what side or the middle. (The middle is the worst) and we draw to see who has to have the checkout stand in their 10 x 10 space (that's the worst too). This year at Farm Chicks Stacey and I each got an end and my mom got the middle. My mom and I decided to share the checkout space between our booths. Half in her booth and half in mine. Still not ideal. For future shows we will now have to go with four booth spaces...one mainly for checkout and then the rest of that space divided into additional space for each of us. I bet you never thought antiques shows could be so complicated, right? They are!!

I will give you a quick tour of 2015's triple booth and each of our spaces:

The picture above is our booth looking at it from my side. The picture below is our booth looking from Stacey's side.

Here's a little tour starting with my booth space:

Now onto my Mom's area:

And finally onto Stacey's space:

I was really happy with our booth set up this year!! The show was amazing. Record breaking crowds and record breaking sales. What more could you ask for?

There were two entrances with people lined up for hours...

It was pretty sweet!!

After the two day show we were absolutely exhausted but I am already excited and inspired for next year!!
