Weekend In the Palouse
We had a fun weekend. How could it be bad when Tyler came home on Friday night with roses and a little present for me? Woohoo. That started our weekend off great. I love you Ty!! Friday night we attended an art exhibit downtown by a fantastic local artist who just happens to be in our ward...the talented Danielle Hatch. It was so fun to see her art on display. Then we headed out on the Palouse highway to hit a rural roadside café that we had heard great things about. The rumors were true. It was delicious.
Saturday we headed down to Stacey's cute little town to celebrate my nephew Dane's 6th birthday. He had a wild and crazy Transformer birthday party at a Gymnastics center.
After the party we went back to Stacey and John's house to hang out for awhile and to let the kids play...and burn off some energy.
We were heading back home that afternoon when we decided to turn around and spend a bit more time in the area. Bryn had fallen asleep and the open road was calling. Plus with several Sisters Creed sales approaching I am always on the hunt for fun finds. I was not disappointed. I will post a sneak peek on the Sisters Creed blog in the next day or so. I am getting so excited for our upcoming sales!!
After playing in Moscow, ID for awhile the kids were starving and we were in Pullman, WA so we decided to try a restaurant that my friend,Valynn, had recommended.
We love you guys.

Oh, how I miss my Basilio's! I love the braided cheese bread they have...yum. I'm glad your kids liked it. :)
HEY! I have, of course, eaten at Basilio's. That brought back a round of memories! (Moscow is not exactly overflowing with restaurant choices...) but I do remember it was yum.
It looks like you had such a great time in Palouse. Dane looked so happy in that first picture... to cute!
p.s I am thrilled to have my computer back in service @ home... prepare for blog comments galore!
