3 Things that'll change your lifeš¤
These last couple weeks have been HUGE. Absolute bonkers. So I'll save the small talk and hop right into it ya'll:)
#1 God:
My second week here in Princeton (it's currently week 12) we met Jillian. She is so freakin cool! She's the granddaughter of some members in my current ward and they came up to me and my companion at the time and introduced her to us and she told us that she wanted to get baptized! FREAKIN AS GOLDEN AS THEY COME. SOO fast forward 8 weeks andddd she got baptized on May 1st! It was the coolest experience everrrrrr. She asked me to give a talk on Baptism at her baptism and in preparing that talk, giving it, and then watching her make that covenant (promise with God) was something special ya'll lemme tell ya. Then the next day (which was Sunday) we got to help confirm her a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints! I have never felt the spirit as strongly as I did during and after that confirmation than I have in my whole life. This truly is the Lord's work and He called me freakin me to assist him in it. That's BONKERS if you think about it for too long haha. God is so good ya'll. So. Dang. Good.
#2 Mango Pepsi:
I had never seen/had it before...boi was I missin out. SHEESH it's the freakin nectar of the Gods. (Right after Redbull ofc). If you see it, buy it. You'll thank me later haha. Trust me on this one ;)
#3 Try new things:
On the mission I've learned two new tricks you could say. The first, Video Editing! Who freakin knew that I would learn how to edit videos on my mission but guess what I did! It is sooo dang fun haha! A large portion of the videos I've created are on my Facebook so pleaseee go check them out! The second? Kendama. Now some of you are either majorly confused on what that is or you're having middle school flashbacks when those were last popular...whatever side of the spectrum you're on I am here to say that they are incredibly fun. And very very rewarding. SO I challenge you to try something new!
Here's a FUEGOš„ scripture I read this week!
Alma 37: 36&37
"Yea, and cry unto God for all thy support; yea, let all thy doings be unto the Lord, and whithersoever thou goest let it be in the Lord; yea, let all thy thoughts be directed unto the Lord; yea, let the affections of thy heart be placed upon the Lord forever."
Counsel with the Lord in all thy doings, and He will direct thee for good..."
Have a killer week!
Love ya'll❤
