Halloween 2024

Halloween 2024 was fun! It dawned rainy and cold. We had a pretty funny texting thread going with the family that morning. It was snowing in Rexburg. Yikes. So much for fall in Southern Idaho. We got Bryn some Boo Berry Cereal for breakfast and all three of us declared it inedible.

Has it always been this disgusting? We ended up throwing it away.

Tyler and I were able to do a crisp and slightly drizzly walk that afternoon. Things were looking very Halloween-ish around here.

Bryn had a Halloween Party earlier in the week. Her friend had a Murder Mystery Party but she wasn't really doing anything early on Halloween night so she donned a fuzzy Koala costume and came to Trunk-or-Treat with us.

Traditions!

We met Reilly, Hunter, and Karson at Trunk-or-Treat. They were dressed as Minions. Karson LOVES Minions.

Our ward combined with another ward and the primaries had some fun games and competitions for the kids while the parents got the cars all set up in the parking lot. Karson was mesmerized by all the kids and their costumes! He was so cute!

Then once all of the games were over and the kids could go outside, Karson was ready to collect some candy. He was so cute and had so much fun going from car to car. We had a great turn out and some people did a really amazing job decorating their cars! There was a contest and prizes for the winners.

Karson had fun walking around for awhile and then he just wanted to sit in our car and help Bryn pass out candy to all of the kids.

After Trunk-or-Treat... we said goodbye to Bryn but Reilly, Hunter, and Karson came over and hung out for a bit. We ate Texas Trash and handed out candy to our neighborhood trick-or-treaters. Karson loved running to answer the door! After awhile Reilly, Hunter, and Karson left to make a stop at the other grandparents house so they could see Karson in his costume and he could trick-or-treat to them. Tyler and I spent the rest of the night watching Halloween episodes of Modern Family and The Goldbergs in between answering the door. We had a good amount of trick-or-treaters this year! Grandkids definitely make Halloween fun again!

And Pugs in costumes!
