Tales from the Toilet Bowl
Where have I been for weeks...months...you might ask? Just hanging out with my new best friend...the toilet bowl. We've become very good friends over the past few months. VERY GOOD FRIENDS!! Why haven't I been blogging or reading blogs or doing anything like that? It is because I have been throwing up all day every day and pretty much all night too for the past 8 weeks. It has been absolutely wretched. I'm convinced that the sight of my blog induces vomiting...so I may need to update my layout in the next few weeks.
I am happy to announce...although highly superstitious and very afraid of getting too excited...that I am over 3 months pregnant . Wow!! It has been one nauseating roller coaster these past 13 weeks. Truly I've never had worse morning sickness in my life. But we've hit enough milestones now that I am feeling a bit more optimistic about the whole thing. Two weeks ago we heard the heartbeat and just this afternoon Tyler and I got back from the our first ultrasound...we saw our baby and even have some really amazing 3D pictures. Everything looks good. Whew. The doctor even felt like he could tell the sex...he said he would put money on it being a----. Nope...not going to say until we get further confirmation next month at our next ultrasound. You'll have to stay tuned.
Until then I hope to be kicking this morning/noon/and all night sickness soon and will try to drag my pasty sallow flabacious vomitous self to the computer more. Oh yeah there will be no floating baby counting down to the due date to to my extreme superstitiousness and fear of jinxing everything.
Until next time...I will be gestating.

Congrats!!! That is great news. I hope you feel better soon.
I KNEW IT! I kept wondering where you were.... why no new blogs... I knew SOMETHING was up!! Wahoooo! I'm so excited for you. But in a totally cool, nonchalant way that would never jinx anything. This is great. I'm so glad I can watch you do this, since I have put the idea of another baby to rest at my house. It makes me feel not so old to see you do it. (Although it might be making you feel so much older to do it now!)
It seems like once I got my mind wrapped around for sure no more babies, I felt like I was a hundred.
Okay, so major sickness could be from your advanced age ha ha ha OR due to the fact it's a GIRL. However, your cloudy little tease leads me to believe it's a BOY! I am hoping for a boy for you as that's what I would want to even out the numbers. And because girls are a nightmare.
Congratulations!! Everything is going to be fine. Except you're going to get ginormous and not sleep until around 2011. I love you!
YEAH!!!!! Oh Kristen that is so great, I had a feeling something was going on and now I know what! :) Can't wait for updates...enjoy those soda crackers. ;)
Congrats Johnsons! Well your family is about to mini van status. But you will be pleased to know that the new lingo is SPORTS VAN! They come loaded and Tyler can also call it a MAN VAN when he is behind the wheel. J/K
Anyways, we really miss you guys!
Sorry Kirk...but we will NEVER drive a mini van/man van/sportsvan!! ;)We are much too cool as you well know!!
Oh, that is such great news! Congrats I hope it continues to go well. Keep us posted!!!
Sorry you are still feeling so crummy! But I am so excited that you had your ultra sound and that your pregnancy is progressing!!!!
Hope you start to feel way better real soon!!!!!
We couldn't be more THRILLED about your good news! We love that another darling Johnson is coming to the world!!
Hopefully you can start distancing yourself from your new best friend. With friends like that, who needs enemies?? :)
Can't wait to hear about the journey!
How exciting! ...babies are the sweetest and you have such cute kids!!!
Oh Kristen,
I'm so sad that you're so sick. I've been thinking about you and wondering how your feeling. Is there anything you need? I'm so glad your ultrasound went well. It seems everything will turn out great this time! I'm happy for you. I heard through the bookgroup grapevine what the sex is, and am of course excited about that as well! Hope to see you up and about soon!
Such great and exciting news. Too bad I keep missing book group and I can't keep up with all the excitement. So sorry you are sick but hopefully you will soon phase out of that stage of the pregnancy. I can't wait to go shopping for your baby. I am having some serious baby withdrawal and I might have to live vicariously through you.
Kristin - I am so happy and excited for you. To think, you were in the wee early stages when I was sitting on a couch with you!
I can't wait to share your experience as you write about it. I only hope you get a long enough break from your toilet bowl to do so!
CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!
Wow! What wonderful news! Oh, I have goosebumps. Congratulations!
CONGRATS!!!!!!!!!!! Not feeling so bad that I missed the big news since it wasn't that long ago that you told people!
prayers for you and family...
