Well...it's official. I am forty. How does it feel? A little weird. But also not that bad. My friend Becky put things in perspective on her post to me on FB. She said that forty is kind of exciting and that perhaps 50 will be a more sobering birthday. That worked for me. I plan to enjoy the heck out of my forties and save a mid-life crisis for 50.
I did have a wonderful birthday...multiple celebrations!! I am a very blessed woman who is married to an amazing man. I have 4 fantastic children. I have the BEST friends and wonderful family. I am one luck lady!!
So here's to 40 and FABULOUS!!
