Happy New Year

We rang in the New Year up at my Mom's house with Kirk and Meki. Reilly flew back to Utah early early New Years Eve morning. Her plane tickets were significantly cheaper to do it that way but it was a mistake. I hated it. I want her here through New Years next year... it wasn't worth the money saved. Saying good-bye was rough. I think it always will be. But it was fantastic having her home for ten days.

Cuddling and snuggling this little cutie pie definitely helped!! Kirin is the sweetest and happiest baby. We pretty much mauled him for days and he kept on grinning.

My mom's house was gorgeous and festive as always.

For New Years Eve we had an enormous seafood feast. It was to die for!! King crab legs, lobster, and clams. It was a beautiful thing!! We also had some good salads and other side dishes. It is always fun to hang out with my brother. He is always up for fun and adventure as are we!!

New Years Day was an absolutely gorgeous North Idaho day and we had to get out in it. So we put on all our snow gear and went for a hike/walk to burn off all the calories from all the fattening food that we had been eating!!

It was an exquisite day and a fun weekend enjoying the beauty of nature and family.

Kelley came up and we all had a big traditional turkey dinner since we missed out on one for Thanksgiving and watched movies and enjoyed the first day of the New Year.
