How Cute Is My Boy??
How cute is Kameron? He just melts my heart!! This is his T-ball picture for the year. I LOVE LOVE LOVE it! I have always had a thing for baseball AND baseball players. All through high school in Kansas City my best friend, Mary, and I spent night after night at 3 & 2 ball park watching our high school's baseball team play. Go Lancers!! We had a blast!! I used to laugh at all the crazy parents who would come to the games and yell crazy things. My all-time favorite saying used to be yelled out frequently by the mother of the boy I liked...Mike (he was the catcher)...when he was up to bat and the bases were loaded she would yell at the top of her lungs "Ducks on the pond Michael!! Ducks on the pond!!" I have no idea what that means. But I have since become one of those crazy yelling, cheering mothers!! I nearly yelled "Ducks on the pond Kameron! Ducks on the pond!" the other day when he was up to bat and I don't even know what it means! I've become crazy Mrs. Rushton! It's T-BALL!! The season has ended for the year and Kameron had his pizza/trophy party last night. He is now quite a baseball fanatic, talks about it endlessly and can't wait for next year and coach pitch.
Ok...since I'm talking about Kameron I have to tell you the SWEETEST story about him. This occurred on my birthday and was the BEST gift a mom could get. When I picked him up from school I asked Kameron how his day was and he said that it was alright but that a girl in his class had embarrassed him. He said that she had written in her notebook "I love Kameron" and then several kids in his class saw it and teased him about it. I asked Kameron how he felt about it and he said "embarrassed". This is a little girl he has previously called his "girlfriend". I asked him if this little girl was still his girlfriend and he said no... she was just his "friend". I asked him who his "girlfriend" was now and he said he didn't have one. I teasingly asked him "Isn't there one girl who is extra pretty and extra special?" Kameron answered very seriously "Well mom...there's you" and then he hopped over the seat got buckled in. Yeah...I melted! This will probably MORTIFY him years from now but I had to document it! :)
P.S. Dana... the earrings you sent arrived last weekend and they are GORGEOUS! I love them! Thanks so much. If any of you haven't already... check out her fantastic jewelry!

Kameron is adorable and so sweet. Have a great last day of school. We're going to the park for lunch with a bunch of people from church if you are interested, come right after school.
Karmeron is darling. I love baseball too. And what a sweet story about him. We love our little boys!!!!!
What a cutie pie! There's definitely something special about a son. :-) And, I'm with you on the baseball thing. No wonder it's America's pasttime.
My nephew is a doll! I was so happy at the way he and Dane played together this past weekend. I think Kameron will always have his little cousin Dane looking up to him!!
Oh, I found out at the dr.'s office I am only 16 weeks along, and I thought I was 17...bummer. I don't get to have my ultrasound for another month...
XOXOXO Stacey
So glad you like them Kristin!
Your little man is a doll!
Happy late birthday Ms. Oyle! I did not forget you - I just can't seem to pull it together. I agree that 35 is fabulous, except for the walker I have to use now. I will be in McCall around the last week of July/ first week of August and I have got to see you! Also, for the love of everything, would you blog about having a meltdown sometime? I'm starting to feel like a loser!
YOu and your sisters are all so gorgeous still! Hi Stacey and Kelly!
Cute does not even cover it...this is the reason we may be trying for a boy. YIKES! He is such a sweetheart too and he has the best laugh...that is always what I think about when I think of him.
And not to fear...I too am a yeller. I can't help myself, sometimes I feel like I have turrets, it just comes out! The "ducks on the pond" thing is a little strange though, what is that about???? Anyway, always good to read the "latest". :)
Love ya
Stacey,
That is so fun that you are feeling well and moving right along. We're so excited to find out what you're having.....are you finding out? Will you start a blog already???? Seriously! :)
Tiffany-
We will have to work something out for a little get-together. The last weekend in July we have plans but maybe the first week of August we could drive to McCall!!
That would be so much fun!! And...of course I have meltdowns...but I'm too embarrased to post my cursing tirades!!
