Birthday Bash Weekend

We had a fun week/end celebrating both Reilly and Kameron's birthdays. Because their birthdays fell during the week we did most of our celebrating on the weekend...but not all.

Reilly on her actual birthday...those Oreo Cakesters come in handy!!

I got to attend Reilly's Middle School for their Veteran's Day Assembly. Reilly's Honor Choir was performing. They did a great job. Reilly was a soloist on the song "American Tears" and did a beautiful job. I don't know how she does it. She also sang with the Young Women in Sacrament Meeting on Sunday and her voice was just gorgeous. I can't believe she is a Mia Maid now. Stake Dances here she comes!!

Kameron lucked out in that his birthday falls on Veteran's Day...which means...NO SCHOOL!! The kids got a four day weekend which was fun.

Reilly made this cake for Kameron...on his actual birthday

Kameron's birthday also fell on "flu shot day" but things worked out ok because the big kids were able to get the nasal spray...and only Elle, Tyler and Bryn got the shots. Then it was off for ice cream at Baskin-Robbins.

Check out these two attempting to break into the ice cream freezer.

TEAMWORK!!

Earlier that day Elle and Bryn had a little play date and they were so cute!! They were parading around in their "high heels" and purses.

Even while watching their "movies" the high heels and purses were in their clutches!!

We had a family birthday dinner yesterday to celebrate Reilly and Kameron. Their dinner requests were:

Broccoli Divan
Over-the-Rainbow Macaroni and Cheese
7-Layer Dip
Dr. Pepper
Grape Crush
White Birthday Cake with Lemon Filling and Cream Cheese Frosting
Lemon Meringue Pie

(Yes...we are still recovering from this dinner!!)

And...just in case you thought all the birthday fun was over...WRONG!! We still have our big Harry Potter Extravaganza next weekend. Can't wait!!

Tyler and I also managed to squeeze in about 75% of our Christmas Shopping, Family Pictures, Cub Scout Food Drive, YW Fundraiser, take the kids out for breakfast, go out to dinner with our friends the Thumstedters, and do a few home repairs. It was a very productive and fun weekend!!

Happy Birthday you two!!

Wow... it seems like just yesterday that these two were babies. They are growing up to be such wonderful, sweet individuals. We miss you guys so much. Happy Birthday Reilly and Kameron!

Ok, first of all, did you make that pie? It is picture perfect! Second, what is Rainbow mac & cheese? Third, I love your house. I want to be the other sister who makes fabulous things for your sales. Or just for my own personal enjoyment. I am appalled that REilly thinks she can go and be 14, when she was JUST BORN. Hsppy b-day to your cute kids. Oh, and also, Byrn and Elle are GLORIOUS! Hilarious.

Tiff- you can be another sister any time!!

Over-the-rainbow Mac and Cheese is a horrible artery clogging macaroni and cheese dish that was in a Patty LaBelle Cookbook. It contains 5 different cheeses one of which is velveeta. I find it vile but the kids find it enjoyable. I only make it for birthdays...occasionally Reilly whips it out for Christmas or another holiday.

I can't believe Reilly is 14 either. Egads. She just danced the night away at a multi-stake dance. So scary.
