Thankful Day 15

I am thankful for the sun. It is shining today. Full on shining...in a blue sky!! Some of you might take a sunny day for granted where you live but we certainly don't here in the Pacific Northwest...especially in November. Every sunny day is like a little gift and I very rarely fail to express my gratitude for it.

November is when the gloom kicks in around here. Gray on gray on gray days interspersed with rain and snow. Throw in Daylight Savings (you suck) and you have the perfect recipe for depression. You just have to hold on tight until June. The end of June that is...  :(

So yeah...it's been gloomy for about the past 15 days straight and it was bumming me out. But today...SUNSHINE!! Woohoo.
