Thankful Day 22

I am thankful for Thanksgiving!! Halloween is pure craziness. Christmas is beautiful but stressful and busy. Thanksgiving is just delightful. No craziness, no stress, no gifts to buy, no Thanksgiving parties to attend, and 101 other activities. Thanksgiving is a quiet rest in a busy season that causes us to reflect on our blessings and be grateful for them. Spending time with family and being grateful. I love it. It's a beautiful thing.

The concept of Black Friday annoys me to no end. I absolutely loathe it. It is a vile thing. Black Friday tries to squeeze out Thanksgiving every single year. This year it was even more successful as employees had to run from their Thanksgiving dinners back to work on Thanksgiving night to be there for the masses. Forget being thankful Black Friday says. Forget everything that you were just grateful for...be greedy, pushy, and selfish. Focus on commercialism and on things that have no true value. Coincidence?  I hate it and I boycott it. If there were no shoppers more families could be together and focused on what truly matters which is not...for the record...a 60 inch flat screen TV for 300 bucks. 

 Hurray for Thanksgiving!!
